A fireball over Austin Texas was possibly caused by a Russian satellite and an American sattelite colliding a few hundred miles above the earth says the American Aviation Administration. At approx 11 am February 15 2009 the Texas fireball was accompanied by a loud sonic boom heard across the state. The space debris may have landed on the earth, or may have disintegrated before hitting the earth.
